About the Role
The nurse is responsible for assuring youth admitted to The Ranch are provided medical care, as
needed, and receives their medication as prescribed. The nurse must be available 24 hours a day,
7 days a week as appropriate to meet the needs of the youth.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
The nurse must be registered or licensed and provide care within the scope of their practice as defined by State law.
Duties
Be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be on-site or have face-to-face via
interactive videoconferencing based on a resident's medical needs.
Complete assessment on new admissions to document medical concerns and
contraindicators on the behavior intervention plan.
Complete critical incident report as needed.
Participate in service plan meetings and discharge planning meetings.
Training
Must complete trauma-informed training within 30-days of hire and annually thereafter.
