About the Role
The social worker is responsible for assuring youth admitted to The Ranch are provided mental
health services, as needed. The social worker must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week as
appropriate to meet the mental health needs of the youth.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
The social worker must be licensed or credentialed to provide care within the scope of their practice as defined by State law.
Duties
Be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to be on-site or have face-to-face via
interactive videoconferencing based on a resident's mental health needs.
Complete assessment on new admissions to document any psychological or
developmental concerns and/or contraindicators on the behavior intervention plan.
Review and approve all service plans and service plan reviews.
Participate in discharge planning meetings.
Address mental health concerns or questions.
Training
Must complete trauma informed training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
